As per the Statutes of the Day Commemoration Committee, local communities mainly situated between Saint-Martin-de-Varreville and Ouistreham are direct members of Committee and officially represented by their mayor.

These local communities are invited to the Annual General Assembly and very welcome to be part in the projects untertaken by our Committee, such as the Kakemonos project, gathering about fifty of them which aims at paying tribute to 950 servicemen.
